Clinics and Services

Chronic Disease Clinics

Our nurses monitor patients suffering from Chronic diseases such as Heart Disease, Hypertension, COPD and Diabetes in clinics held at both surgeries. Patients suffering from chronic diseases will be offered an annual review with a specialist nurse. Appointments are usually arranged during your birthday month.

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an assessment please use our Health Review and Assessment Clinic.

Maternity

We offer Antenatal clinics at both sites.

Nurse Clinics

Our nurses are trained to provide a number of services. Please contact reception if you require a service that is not listed here.

Family planning clinic

You can discuss your contraceptive requirements with any of the doctors or Nurse Practitioners. For routine ‘pill checks’ you can also book an appointment with any of our practice nurses.

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a contraceptive pill review please use our online form.

Contraceptive fitting

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a contraceptive pill review please use our online form.

Cervical smears

Tests can be performed by our practice nurses. Women between the ages of 25 and 49 should have a test every three years, and for women between the ages of 50 and 64 every five years. You will be notified by letter when your smear test is due. If, after three notification letters and a doctor’s letter, a patient fails to attend for a smear, the responsibility for the smear test will rest with that patient.
